Ghanaian social commentator Serwaa Broni has waded into the messy marital crisis between Afua Asantewaa and her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, dropping explosive revelations that have left many stunned.
In a calm but passionate video circulating on social media, Serwaa Broni didn’t hold back as she accused Afua Asantewaa of being the one who personally filed and processed the asylum application for her husband. She expressed strong disappointment at Afua’s recent behaviour on social media, questioning why she is now publicly dragging their private marital issues online.
Serwaa Broni further claimed that Afua Asantewaa’s husband has powerful connections and influence that could have easily allowed him to travel abroad without stress, yet Afua was the one who single-handedly handled his asylum process. She dropped a strong hint that “some big people” are fully aware of what is truly going on behind the scenes.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Serwaa Broni revealed that it was actually the husband who applied for Afua Asantewaa to take part in the sing-a-thon. She warned Afua Asantewaa to be extremely careful and stop mixing their domestic problems with public matters.
In a direct jab, Serwaa Broni stated: “In May 2025, you (Afua Asantewaa) made the enquiries and personally sought asylum for your husband.
